CMC Cell Matrix Chip bio-sensor

As homeland security becomes a more pressing issue in the 21st century, the urgency to develop a sensor that can provide early detection of threats both known and unknown continues to grow. A sophisticated, miniaturized version of the often used canary, CBI’s bio-sensor, cardiac cells growing on a digital computer chip, has shown prototype proof of concept evidence to provide this degree of sensitivity.
